A little about that NZ weather

It looks like we're right in it now. Every 2 days or so a front is rolling through, direct from the depths of the Tasman Sea. On the west coast rain is now falling at 150 to 300mm a day. Over on the east side of the alps the wind is set to blow from the west - NW 120 to 140kmh, and is a head wind to the eastern flowing rivers. Given it's pouring rain west today and this weather warning map popped up this morning, looks like a little extra planning is in the works once we get our wheels situation sorted out.
