Heavy rain is expected to set Monday night. During Tuesday expect rainfalls 100 to 200mm over the entire region with falls of 300 to 400 mm in the ranges south of Otira. Rainfalls rates are likely to reach 30 to 40mm per hour in the ranges during Tuesday morning. Rainfall intensities should ease Tuesday evening, but further heavy rain is expected on Wednesday."
