CANADA: Ontario biggest muskie ever





Angler Dryden resident Travis Tourond hefts a monster big fat muskie caught while fishing in the southern end of Wabigoon Lake in Ontario, Canada.

The muskie measured 57 inches in length and 26 inches in girth; common calculators estimate the fish’s weight at just over 48 lbs - 21.74 kg.

A very quick battle; in fact Tourond said the battle was lasting about 45 seconds as the fish swam

CANADA: 1000 pound bluefin tuna





According to the last fishing news of Daily Mail Angler Marc Towers, fought an huge tuna for two hours before he pulled it to the surface of the water off the coast of Canso in Nova Scotia, Canada.

CANADA: 35 pound big Northern Pike




According with the Salmo Facebook page, this big northern pike was caught Rebekah Whiteand released at Pakwash Lake between Ear Falls and Red Lake, Ontario Lake at the Trout River Lodge

This huge pike was caught on a Salmo Warrior lure and weighed in at over 35 pound and had an overall length of over 50 inches!

CANADA : Brithis Columbia 1000 pound sturgeon




This week a record 1000 pound white sturgeon sturgeon was caught by a group of anglers on the Fraser River in Brithish Columbia. The group was on a team building fishing trip with a local fishing guiding cnear Chilliwack. CANADA: 1100 pound sturgeon of Fraser River

CANADA: lake of the Woods record burbot


The 35-year-old angler Aaron Guthrie from Bemidji loves catching and eating burbot, also called eelpout. So he was all smiles Friday after hooking a 19.5-pound burbot while fishing in his ice house on Lake of the Woods. If certified by the Department of Natural Resources, it will be a state record, edging out a 19.3-pounder caught in Lake of the Woods in 2001.

CANADA: 911 lb Bluefin Tuna World Record approved



New Zealand’s Eryn Jacobsen definitely had a goal in mind coming to Nova Scotia (Canada) with her fishing gear in hand.
Having already broken 10 big game fishing world records, Jacobson set her sights on the bluefin tuna and record number 11.
At around 2:10 p.m. Sept. 28, she returned to the wharf at Ballantyne’s Cove with a 911 pound catch.
