IRELAND: 9 pound sea trout
Last week there were some wild days on Lough Currane and in one of them all the fishing boats on the north side were blown off the lake.
But the same couldn’ t be said on the south side, where angler Van Der laan

IRELAND: huge 115 lb skate froma small boat
The three friends Peter, Scarb and

made a quick run to the Maidens in the Atlantic Ocean off Ireland coasts.
We went out to the place for the last hour or so of the ebb, then hopefully fish the whole flood tide up to 8.00 pm.

IRELAND: skate of 182 pound landed
Anglers Rosco and Davy Craig had a great day out last week in glorious conditions, sunny, no wind. Using some frozen mackerels and standard rigs they had some great results on the sea while fishing dogfish sharks.
The hooked and landed a big skate.The fight was an endurance battle for both fish and fisherman but after 45 minutes it surfaced near the boat.

A new report from the Shercock area of the County of Cavan in Ireland.

IRELAND: big tope shark landed
Angler Mark Heffernan, Chairman of Dundalk "SAC" had a day to remember. Mark was fishing on Carlingford Lough on board the "Tope Legend", a boat owned by Brian Gallagher when he hooked and landed a monster tope shark for Irish waters. The big shark was 67.50 pound with a fork length of 60 inches and a girth of 30 inches which would put it above the current Irish record of 66lb 8oz.

IRELAND:18 lb Trout on fly on the River Maine
Angler Sam Andrews, caught a specimen 18 lb Dolloghan Trout from Lough Neagh, he caught on salmon shrimp fly on River Maine at Shanes Castle. Sam quickly measured the fish on the handle of his landing net at 33 inches and that the fish was a rare strain of “Bodagh Dollaghan” which run the river from Lough Neagh and he quickly returned this magnificent fish of a lifetime after a very dogged

IRELAND: big pike fishin on Corrib lake
GuideTomi Kurman from the Corrib Predator Team reported on some great fishing during May for Tomi, fellow guide Jack Gorny, and their clients. On several days they recorded landing several fish over 1m long, with many fish in low to mid-twenties in weight, but these were dwarfed by their best fish.
