GUATEMALA 91 sailfish in on day!









Guatemala is known for its unreal numbers of sailfish and as December rolled around, the fleet was in full swing, posting up double-digit days. After a very short Christmas break the bite really turned on and Capt. Brad Philipps and his crew on the Decisive got into on some non-stop action.

GUATEMALA: hot action at Pacific Fins








Here the last report from Pacific Fins in Guatemala "The fishing has been Red Hot of late.
With 22 anglers arriving over the next few days here are a few quick
highlights.John Temple and his 12-year old son John Henry
returned for their second trip in 6 mos. In 3 days fishing on Gypsy
(Dec 28 - 31) they raised 136 sailfish, had 118 bites and released 94

GUATEMALA: last report from Casa Veja




Greetings from Guatemala…Yes, the fishing is off the hook here!!! 30 to 70 raises a day for sometime now on the Casa Vieja boats and a bunch of Blue Marlin thrown in the mix as well. I just got back from the Miami Boat Show and entertained the Kennedy group from Calgary, Canada aboard the Rum Line for a few days of fly-fishing. We raised 124 sails and got 61 of them to bite the chicken

GUATEMALA: Pacific Fin's billfish report



Here are a few highlights from the first 2 weeks of Jan 2012:

Jan 13 - 14 Joe Segobia, Robert Delaloye, Richard Rosencrans, Andrew Nugent, Michael Lovell, Lawrence & Jonathan Lunardi, Randall Villaire, James Vanalstine, Thomas Mooney, and Steven Sahinen arrived at Pacific Fins. In just 2 days fishing aboard Fortuna, Gypsy, and Maverick they raised 130 sailfish and released 85!

GUATEMALA: Hot action with Brad Philips


The action has been hot off Guatemala!! Up to 6 blues raised to a boat three days back withe evryone in the mix. We released 17 sailfish from 24 bites yesterday and 21 from 38 bites today. The current is pushing good water inshore and what looks like loads of sailfish on the way. We have a few days open prior to Christmas so come on down.....it's gonna get real good in the next little while!!!
