SCOTLAND: 67 pound ling fish boated
Angler James Isbister, boated a record ling fish (Molva molva) measuring 6 feet and 67 pounds or 30.35 kilos last February 2013. The huge ling was caught in the afternoon off the coast of Muckle Flugga island, located on the Shetland Archipelago of Scotland. The fish will undergo scrutiny from the official "British Record Fish Committee" to establish whether it's a new record for the

SCOTLAND: record size turbot
Angler Robert McMillan was fishing off the coast of Unst in Scotland (europe) when he landed a spectacular 29.76 pound turbot. McMillan was aboard the charter boat "Oberon" when he embarked on the 25 minute battle to land the record turbot. It sets the state record for Scotland, but the all United Kingdom record is still set with a British fish that weighed 33 pounds and12 ounces in old 1980

SCOTLAND: record atlantic salmon landed
This huge atlantic salmon reported over 42 inches long, was caught on Scotland‘s Isle of Mull by anglerGarrett VeneKlasen f. Seems that this big salmon was the largest specimen landed there since 1920 in Scotland waters.

SCOTLAND: Record Atlantic Salmon landed
Sam Valentine netted a top award for this mammoth catch when he caught the biggest salmon in Scotland in a fishing competition.
The joiner, from Clayton-le-Woods, caught the 34.5lb whopper in the River Nith, near Dumfries.
And after safely returning the slippery fellow, Sam was handed Scotland’s most prestigious angling honour, the Savills Malloch Trophy, for his haul.
