According with Panama Fishing Magazine Facebook page this monster snook was landed in Panama waters.
The lucky angler was Manuel Zambrano Dufau that caught this huge 53 lb 24 kg snook.

PANAMA: huge dolphin on 2 lb line
According to Tropic Star Lodge, Sherrell Carter was fish Tropic Star Lodge in Panama when she landed a 44,9 pound dolphin on 2 pound line (1 kg). That catch is big enough for the new I.G.F.A. line class record.

PANAMA: huge snapper on light line
Top angler Raleigh Werking caught off Tropic Star Lodge in Panama a big size snapper cubera. Last week while fishing the reef in over 100 feet of water he hooked up on this 57 ½ pound (26 kilos) Pacific cubera snapper. Fighting it on 20-pound (10kg) line, he reports, was quite a challenge but he managed to keep it out of the rocks and bring it aboard.
