On fish handling...

I just shuddered to myself when I saw a happy-go-lucky French angler post the following on the NZ Fly Fishing Forum. All you have to do is combine the hard-lined fly fishing crowd with the appearance of the fish in the photos, and you knew there was going to be havoc on the forums. His initial post spawned 4 or 5 threads on the subject, let alone the replies in the thread. There are some good points on either side of things here, that keep perspective in the regulations for the country (based on their level of resource use), while at the same time others point out the obvious of respecting the fish.
